Why I'm Running
The cost of living throughout the State of Florida has gotten way out of control. Miami-Dade County in particular has seen huge rises in the cost of living these last few years that have made it almost impossible to pay rent as well as to keep food on the table. Insurance companies have left Florida and the ones that you are able to get insurance with have fees that are just too high. Becoming a homeowner or even a renter have become out of reach for too many people. We must bring down the cost of living by reducing property taxes, insurance fees, HOA fees, special assessments fees, and that's just to name a few. We must tackle these issues at the state level so we can see an improvement in our quality of life in HD119, Miami-Dade and the whole state.

Politicians should not get involved in issues regarding a woman's right to choose. That decision should and must always stay between a woman and her doctor. A legislative body of mostly men deciding what a woman can or cannot do with her body is, for lack of a better word, barbaric. Marcos understands that women should have a right to choose.

Public Education
Public education over the last few years has gotten politicized and our kids along with our teachers have been negatively affected. We must invest in our public school system so we can take care of both of them. Teachers are the backbone of our children's development and our children are the future of this great nation. Education is the key to success.
Bring Balance Back to Florida
Since 1996, the Florida House of Representatives has been led by the GOP. The cost of everything has gone up and it will continue to do so unless we make a positive change in Tallahassee in 2024 by electing more Democrats. In order to restore the balance of power and to get our state back on track, we need to elect people like Marcos that will work across the aisle to pass legislation that will benefit all Floridians as our current system has only benefitted those at the top.
